Widow9 OS is free to download, use, copy and share. It is made of free and open-source software, and each part keeps its own licence (see open-source licences).

No guarantee

Widow9 OS is provided "as is". We work hard to make it secure and reliable, but no software is perfect and no system is 100% secure. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty that it will be error-free or suit your particular needs, and we aren't liable for loss of data or other loss from using it. Always keep backups of anything important.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer.

Use it lawfully

You're responsible for how you use Widow9 OS. The Cyber Monk tools are for learning and for authorised testing only. Read the Cyber Monk acceptable use policy.

Names and logos

"Widow9", "Widow9 OS", the widow spider artwork and the logos are trade marks of Mampi Technologies Ltd. You can use them to talk about Widow9 or link to it. Please don't use them in a way that suggests we made or endorse something we didn't.

Widow9 OS is based on Linux Mint and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Linux Mint project. Linux® is the registered trademark of Linus Torvalds in the U.S. and other countries.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
